Questo attesissimo DLC introduce **due personaggi completamente nuovi**, The Soldier e The Prisoner, i quali si ritrovano a dover sopravvivere tra le strade devastate dalla guerra di un luogo un tempo familiare. I giocatori saranno catapultati in una spirale di eventi che cambieranno le loro vite per sempre, esplorando aree inedite del mondo di *REANIMAL*, sia a piedi che con altri mezzi. La promessa è quella di scoprire che, sebbene la guerra possa essere un inferno, esistono orrori ben peggiori. *The Prisoner* rappresenta il primo di tre DLC previsti per *REANIMAL*. L’espansione è inclusa nel Season Pass del gioco, ma è anche disponibile per l’acquisto separato, garantendo così l’accesso a **nuovi contenuti narrativi e giocabili**. Il lancio contemporaneo su PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch 2 e PC sottolinea la volontà degli sviluppatori di raggiungere un vasto pubblico desideroso di immergersi nuovamente nelle atmosfere cupe e terrificanti che hanno contraddistinto il titolo originale.
