# God of War Laufey: Sony svela il nuovo capitolo con protagonista Faye

Sony ha alzato il sipario su *God of War Laufey*, il nuovo, attesissimo capitolo della pluripremiata serie di Santa Monica Studio, durante l’evento State of Play di giugno. La novità più sorprendente riguarda la protagonista: per la prima volta nella saga, il focus si sposterà su Faye**, la madre di Atreus**, figura centrale ma finora celata nelle narrazioni precedenti. Il reveal è stato accompagnato da un esteso filmato di gameplay che ha offerto uno sguardo inedito sulle meccaniche di combattimento, già apprezzate nei capitoli precedenti ma che promettono nuove evoluzioni, e ha svelato una serie di ambientazioni mozzafiato.

L’impatto visivo del trailer è stato immediato, con una direzione artistica che si preannuncia a dir poco maestosa, capace di trasportare i giocatori in mondi ricchi di dettagli e atmosfere evocative. La qualità delle ambientazioni, variegate e curate nei minimi particolari, suggerisce un’immersione senza precedenti nel folklore nordico reinterpretato da Santa Monica. Il filmato ha inoltre messo in mostra una **brutale boss fight**, un assaggio della visceralità e della profondità del sistema di combattimento, confermando l’elevato standard qualitativo che contraddistingue la serie.

La durata e la qualità del materiale mostrato suggeriscono uno sviluppo avanzato, indicando che il gioco è in produzione da tempo e che il team di Santa Monica Studio sta lavorando con grande dedizione per offrire un’esperienza all’altezza delle aspettative. La scelta di incentrare questo nuovo capitolo su Laufey/Faye rappresenta un audace passo narrativo, capace di esplorare nuove sfaccettature del pantheon norreno e di approfondire il legame familiare centrale nella storia.
