Fumito Ueda, mente creativa dietro capolavori come *Ico*, *Shadow of the Colossus* e *The Last Guardian*, ha finalmente svelato il titolo definitivo del suo attesissimo nuovo progetto: **Gen Atlas**. Annunciato originariamente con il nome in codice “Project Robot” durante The Game Awards 2024, il gioco è stato presentato con un nuovo trailer mozzafiato al recente Summer Game Fest. Sviluppato da genDESIGN, studio di Tokyo guidato dallo stesso Ueda e composto da veterani dei suoi precedenti lavori, Gen Atlas si prospetta come un’epopea videoludica destinata a lasciare il segno. Il gioco è un’avventura action single-player in un mondo aperto, una combinazione che promette **un’esplorazione profonda** e una narrazione avvincente. La collaborazione con Epic Games come publisher garantirà una distribuzione capillare, con uscite previste per PC (in esclusiva sull’Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X/S. Sebbene una finestra di lancio non sia ancora stata confermata, l’entusiasmo della community è già palpabile, con l’attesa di poter finalmente immergersi in questo nuovo universo creato da uno dei maestri del medium. ## Esplorando un pianeta misterioso: Le prime impressioni su Gen Atlas La descrizione ufficiale del gioco dipinge un quadro suggestivo: “Senza sapere il perché, ti risvegli su un pianeta abbandonato”. Di fronte a un mondo vasto e silenzioso, disseminato di imponenti strutture colossali, installazioni desertificate e un mare in perenne mutamento, il giocatore si troverà di fronte ai resti di un grande disegno dimenticato. Il fulcro dell’esperienza sembra essere l’incontro con un gigantesco robot, la cui **potenza travolgente aprirà** nuove vie verso luoghi precedentemente inaccessibili, trasformando la percezione stessa del mondo. I frammenti di antiche costruzioni iniziano a muoversi, suggerendo un risveglio imminente. In una dichiarazione commossa, Ueda ha espresso la sua gratitudine ai fan: “Il team ed io siamo grati a tutti i fan che hanno atteso con ansia di saperne di più sul nostro gioco. La loro passione e il loro entusiasmo ci hanno sempre motivato e ispirato. Speriamo di condividere un’esperienza che ispiri momenti di quieta meraviglia e scoperta”.
